LG CNS signed a Business Licensing Integrated System (BLIS) contract with the e-Government Authority of Bahrain. With a business scale of approximately USD 8 million (approximately KRW 9 billion), LG CNS will establish the system by 2014 and proceed to maintain the system following completion. Eighteen global companies participated in the bidding for this project, going through rigid qualification screening for more than six months. LG CNS won the bid by emphasizing its experience in establishing the e-Registry System of the Supreme Court of Korea. LG CNS will be using this project to secure other opportunities of e-Government projects in Bahrain, including patenting, e-Registry, and data center establishment.
