LG Innotek plans to strengthen its efforts for on-vehicle camera modules. As part of its efforts, LG Innotek mobilized a talent bench to further strengthen the team in charge of on-vehicle camera modules. In addition, the company is working to expand a product lineup for on-vehicle camera modules based on convergence between its camera technologies, such as ultra-precision and high definition optical technology, acquired through the smartphone business and its auto parts engineering technologies. Last year, LG Innotek proved its technological prowess by commencing the mass production of the front view camera module, and in January, confirmed its product competitiveness by winning a project for the camera module from an overseas EV maker. LG Innotek intends to secure leadership in the on-vehicle camera module market with high performance, high quality products based on the company’s strong competitiveness in auto parts, ranging from development to product quality and marketing, and convergence of its core technologies.
