LG CNS’ Busan Data Center was recognized with ‘Brill Awards’, one of the most prominent awards given to the world’s best corporate data centers. LG CNS was highly credited in particular for its consideration of safety and energy efficiency from the beginning of designing stage. ‘Brill Awards’ was given by the Uptime Institute, the world’s only data center licensing agency. LG CNS’ Busan Global Data Center boasts an innovative cooling system using natural wind currents to cool heated hardware. It is also the only Korean data center immune to earthquakes up to 8.0 magnitudes. On receiving the Brill Awards, LG CNS was recognized to have a data center powerhouse within the global top 0.1 percent.
