LG Uplus was awarded with Global Telecoms Business (GTB) Innovation Award in the wireless network category for its LTE-A technology utilizing 3-Band Carrier Aggregation (CA) and small cell technology. The global communications and IT business magazine Global Telecoms Business is awarding communications related companies with the most innovative achievement in categories including wireless network infrastructure and business services. LG Uplus showed off the 3-band CA technology for the first time in the world in the beginning of this year. The technology integrates three LTE bands to offer LTE services at a speed six times faster. LG Uplus will continue its partnership with global equipment manufacturing companies to provide users with differentiated next-generation network technologies.
