At the 2014 LTE World Summit held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, LG Uplus received the Most Significant Development of a Commercial LTE Network” awards. Organized and hosted by a global research agency Informa, the LTE World Summit is the world’s largest scale LTE conference that attracts more than 100 LTE related businesses across the world. At the award ceremony held in conjunction with the conference, LG Uplus was honored for its achievements in and contributions to the successful commercialization and development of LTE networks, including the establishment of the world’s first nationwide LTE network, leadership in LTE-A technologies represented by CA, and the successful commercialization of core LTE services. Encouraged by this industry recognition for the quality of its LTE network and services, LG Uplus plans to lead the era of LTE video with ultra LTE-A services supported by 3-Band CA technology.
