LG Chem will supply 2MW ESS batteries to North America’s largest power company Duke Energy. LG Chem will build a foundation to expand its business to the overall ESS industry, including power converter systems and system integration segments.  LG Chem has also concluded an ESS MOU with three companies including Gexpro, Ideal Power, supplier of a Power Conversion System (PCS), and Geli, supplier of an Energy Management System (EMS). According to the MOU, LG Chem will supply batteries to Gexpro’s 45KWh commercial ESS and they will be supplied to commercial buildings starting in June.
