LG Electronics has become the first Korean business to sponsor La Parisienne, France’s large-scale marathon for women. Launched in 1997 to help promote women’s rights and health, this marathon is Europe’s first women-only marathon. With the growing interest in the event among young women and celebrities, over 40,000 women participated in this year’s event, held on September 11 in Paris, France, by running a seven-kilometer route past famous landmarks in Paris, including the Eiffel Tower and the Siene.
