LG CNS is set to launch an e-government project in collaboration with Uzbekistan. The company recently announced that it signed a contract with the MDITC (Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications) in Uzbekistan regarding the implementation of the National Educational Electronic Library (NEEL) Project. This joint venture includes the construction of the ICT-based Navoiy National Library Data Management System, which is one of the core projects pursued by the president of Uzbekistan. The KRW 13.5-billion project is funded by the Export-Import Bank of Korea’s EDCF (Economic Development Cooperation Fund).
