LG International has succeeded in developing a large-scale coal mine in Indonesia with an estimated reserve of 220 million tons of coal. The GAM Coal Mine is located in Indonesia’s East Kalimantan Province, and LG International will begin commercial production at the mine from January next year and increase production by up to 14 million tons a year. With the successful development of two coal mines, including the previous MPP Coal Mine, the company is rising rapidly as a major coal supplier.
